Conference

The CLEF 2024 conference aims at advancing research in the evaluation of complex information systems for cross-language tasks and scenarios, in order to support individuals, organizations, and communities who design, develop, employ, and improve such systems.

Experimental evaluation - in both laboratory and interactive settings - is key to fostering the development of multilingual and multimodal information systems that address increasingly complex information needs.

CLEF's traditional core activities and goals, namely the benchmarking activities carried out as part of the various tracks, are complemented with a peer-reviewed conference component on experimental evaluation.

Researchers and practitioners from all segments of the information access and related communities are invited to participate.

Conference proceedings will be published in Springer's LNCS Series.
