Venue


Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) is a leading French public research university located in the city of Grenoble, in southeastern France. With a history dating back to the 12th century, UGA is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in France. The conference will be held in the IMAG building located on the campus in Saint-Martin d’Hères.





Some sessions will also be held in the amphitheatre of the MACI building, a 5 minute walk from the main venue.



Travelling to the venue

Air Travel

The main airport near to Grenoble is Lyon Saint Exupéry (LYS), from which you can take a bus to get to Grenoble (1 hour trip via Flixbus).

Car

  • From Lyon or Valence: follow the signs for Chambéry/ Rocade Sud. Take exit No. 1 - Domaine Universitaire / Gières Mayencin.
  • From Chambéry: follow signs for Gières Domaine Universitaire. Take exit No. 1 - Domaine Universitaire / Gières Mayencin.
  • From Grenoble city centre: take avenue Gabiel Péri towards St Martin d'Hères, and enter the campus just after the public transport stop Neyrpic Belledonne.

Grenoble Public Transport

The campus is served by two tram lines: lines B and C. The tram is accessible to people with reduced mobility. For more information on Grenoble's transport network, visit the TAG website or call +33 (0)4 38 70 38 70.
  • From Grenoble SNCF railway station, take line B towards Gières Plaine des Sports.
  • From Grenoble Université Gières SNCF railway station (for people arriving by train from Geneva, Annecy and Chambéry): take Tram B in the direction of Grenoble Oxford.
In either case you can get off at the tram stop "Gabriel Fauré - MUSE".
